YOUR DENTAL IMPLANTOLOGIST
Dr. R.J. Guideng Focuses on One Thing: Dental Implants
Hi, I'm Dr. R.J. Most people who come to see me aren't looking for "just another dentist." They're tired of teeth that keep breaking, tired of avoiding certain foods, tired of hiding their smile in photos. My job is not to lecture you about the past. It is to listen, understand what you want your life to look like, and create a clear path to help you get there.
A Las Vegas native. I studied at UNLV School of Dental Medicine and have never practiced anywhere else.
I plan, place, and restore every case myself, from the first scan through to the final tooth.
A Fellow of both the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International College of Oral Implantologists.
On faculty at Roseman University's Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.
0.3%
Fewer than 1 in 300 dentists in Nevada are certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry.
Out of roughly 1,500 licensed dentists in the state, only about 4 to 5 hold this specific credential, including practitioners in Las Vegas and Reno. It represents the highest independent standard for competency in implant dentistry, requiring at least seven years of implant practice and a notoriously rigorous board examination that very few dentists in any state achieve.
THE SURGICAL SUITE
Surgery Without the Referral Merry-Go-Round
Grafting, sinus lifts, and sedation planning are coordinated as part of your implant treatment, with Dr. R.J. overseeing the surgical plan from the start.
Sedation Options for Your Comfort
Depending on your needs, health history, and procedure, options may include Oral Sedation, IV Sedation, or General Anesthesia. We review the appropriate option with you before treatment.
Grafting and Sinus Lifts On Site
When there is not enough bone to hold an implant, we rebuild it here rather than referring you to an oral surgeon across town and waiting for a slot.
Personally Planned Implant Care
Every implant case is personally reviewed and planned by Dr. R.J., with treatment tailored to your anatomy, goals, and long-term outcome.

Why Choose This Practice
Four Things Worth Knowing Before You Schedule Anywhere
Not what we do, that is further up the page. This is who does it, what they trained on, and who is in the room.
Other dentists fly in to learn this from him.
Dr. R.J. has taught implant surgery and restoration to practicing dentists since 2015. He co-founded Foundation Implant Training, which runs courses across the United States and hands-on live surgical training in Tijuana, and he is faculty at Roseman University's advanced residency program, where general dentists learn implant dentistry. The point is not the titles. A case has to be understood well enough to be taught before it can be taught, and your case is planned by the person doing the teaching.

COMPLETE PLANNING DIGITALLY DESIGNED FOR YOU
Before treatment begins, we use advanced digital planning to design your new smile around your unique facial features, bite, anatomy, and personal goals. This allows us to carefully plan the position, shape, and appearance of your teeth so your final smile looks natural, functions comfortably, and feels like it was made specifically for you.
A cone-beam CT reads bone, nerve, and sinus in three dimensions.
An intraoral scan captures every surface without a tray of impression material.
A facial scan records how your face moves when you speak and smile.
A surgical guide, printed in-house, decides where each implant goes before the day arrives.

Your case never leaves the building.
A case moving between an implant surgeon and an outside lab depends on paperwork, shipping, and a technician who has only ever seen it on a screen. Every step in between is a step where something can slip.
Restore runs an in-house digital implant lab, so restorations are designed on CAD and milled from solid zirconia on site. Smile design and prosthetic planning happen here too, by the same team that planned the surgery, which means full case control from diagnosis to final restoration, with nothing sent out in between.

No cleanings. No whitening. No fillings between your appointments.
Restore Dental Implant Studio is not a general practice with an implant department. Implant dentistry is the entire practice: full-arch treatment, single-tooth implants, and the surgical groundwork underneath them. That narrow focus is intentional. A studio centered on implant treatment sees these problems often, and no schedule of routine appointments competes with your surgery for the room, the equipment, or the attention.

Where Your Teeth Are Actually Made
Most implant practices place the implants and send the rest away. The scan goes to a laboratory in another state, a technician who has never met you designs your teeth, and the case comes back weeks later. Here, both halves of the work happen in the same building.

Every Case Begins the Same Way
The images currently shown are illustrative stock photography while our clinical gallery is being built. As real patient cases are completed and photographed, they will be added with the clinical starting point, treatment completed, and final result.
Nothing Begins Until We Can See Everything
Before any plan exists, we capture your anatomy in full: a cone-beam scan of bone, nerve, and sinus; an intraoral scan of every surface of every tooth; a facial scan of how your face moves when you speak and smile.
Three records, one file. Bone tells us what can be placed. Teeth tell us what must be replaced. The face tells us what it should look like when you are finished. Nothing is guessed at, and very little is left to find out on the day.
Before Your First Visit
Your first visit is a conversation and a scan, not a sales appointment. We take a cone-beam scan, look at it together on the screen, and talk through what your jaw can support today and what would need building first. You will hear the honest version, including the parts that are inconvenient.
By the end you will know the options, what each one costs, and roughly how long each would take. Nothing is decided that day. Most people go home, think it over, and come back with questions, which is exactly how a decision this size should be made.

Your Essential Queries Answered
A single implant with an abutment and crown typically ranges from $3,000 to $5,500. A straightforward zirconia full arch is $17,999 for either the upper or lower arch. More difficult or complex cases, along with any necessary extractions, grafting, or sinus lifts, are priced after your consultation and treatment planning.
Less than most people expect. The procedure is done under anesthetic, and depending on your needs, health history, and procedure, sedation options may include Oral Sedation, IV Sedation, or General Anesthesia. Soreness afterward varies by procedure and patient, and we review postoperative comfort and medication instructions with you before treatment.
Usually, yes. Bone loss is common and rarely disqualifying. Grafting and sinus lift procedures rebuild the foundation an implant needs, and both are done here rather than referred out. A cone-beam scan at your first visit shows exactly how much bone you have and where.
A single implant replaces one tooth with one crown. All-on-X replaces a full arch using four to six implants to support one fixed bridge. The choice depends on how many of your remaining teeth are failing, not only on how many are already gone.
Most people return to desk work within two or three days. The implants then fuse with the bone over the following months, and you wear fixed temporary teeth throughout rather than going without. Your final restoration is fitted once that healing has been confirmed.
Depending on your needs, health history, and procedure, sedation options may include Oral Sedation, IV Sedation, or General Anesthesia. We review your medical history and treatment plan with you before scheduling to determine the appropriate option.
Call us as soon as you can. If a tooth has been knocked out, keep it moist in milk or saliva and avoid touching the root. For a failing implant or a painful tooth, do not wait for the pain to pass. Earlier treatment keeps more options open.
